It is interesting to note that the practice of mindfulness is the seventh of the eightfold noble way. It is clear that the seeker must practice the first six of the noble eightfold path before regularly practicing mindfulness.
I spent over 26 years with my masters in training, training the mind, training to gain a deeper understanding of the state of mindfulness. Then, my teacher told me to move on and attract attention in many ways as taught by traditional teachers.
A different approach helps to completely change the mind. Traditional wisdom means learning from books of knowledge through masters because it aims to find oneself that is to find and realize a subjective reality that transcends the causes, effects and suffering of the world.
According to the Buddha, happiness follows the seeker like that person's shadow. It's awakening and relaxation. This is the transformation of the mind.
